Yamabuki Nadeshiko is made with a patented "Kuro-koji" fermentation method which is also used to produce awamori, a distilled rice wine or sake from Okinawa. 

This impressionable full-bodied tea uses first and second-flush organic tea leaves harvested at 400 metres above sea level in Haruno Village, Shizuoka. 

Yamabuki Nadeshiko is a true Japanese Beauty, boasting a fruity aroma and an elegant Rosé-coloured liquor. 

The tea has a mellow well-rounded sweetness with notes of strawberry and caramel. It can be equally enjoyed as a hot or cold brew.

Yes, our Japanese Pu erh tea contains caffeine as do all green teas. However, due to the fermentation process, caffeine in Yamabuki Nadeshiko is moderate with approx 35mg per cup (230ml).

There are some studies that show that fermented teas can help with weight loss by improving the body's resistance to fat absorption.

Pu erh tea is fermented tea. There are different methods used by tea makers to ferment tea. In the case of Yamabuki Nadeshiko, the tea leaves are microbiologically fermented using Koji mold starter in a controlled environment

The best time to drink Pu erh tea is after a meal. This is because the compounds in Pu erh tea are effective at helping with digestion.
