Gyokuro is one of Japan's finest and rarest teas. Shade-grown and early picked which results in a sweeter, full-bodied tea best reserved for those special ocassions.
HOW TO BREW GYOKURO?
Recommended brewing for 2 people
Pour boiling water into teacups and let it rest until the water has dropped to 70° which is the ideal water temperature for Gyokuro
Add 2 grams of Gyokuro tea to the Kyusu teapot.
Transfer the water from the teacups by pouring into the Kyusu, put the lid back on and let it steep for 1.5 minutes
After steep time has completed, alternate the pouring of the tea into both teacups until even amount is served.
