The whisk frother has a specially designed nylon whisk head to aerate matcha in seconds and produce a frothy, creamy smooth tasting matcha tea.

The set includes our best-selling EISAI ceremonial grade Matcha imported monthly from Uji, Japan. A bamboo scoop is also included and is the easiest way to measure precisely 1 gram of matcha for each serving.

Hand-picked tea leaves from an organic tea farm in Uji Japan, our EISAI matcha is one of the highest drinking grade matcha's available in Australia. 

Using traditional farming methods and without the use of pesticides the tea leaves are sourced from ground Tencha grown on an organic farm in Uji Japan. The farm uses natural predators to remove any insects which would eat the leaf such as Praying Mantis, ladybugs and spiders. 

Flavour Profile

This ceremonial grade matcha comes from the Okumidori cultivar. This Uji grown cultivar is carefully selected for its well rounded and naturally sweet umami taste

Caffeine Level

One serve of matcha (1g) contains between 36 & 40mg of caffeine.

Our teas are grown on the pristine hillsides of Uji in the Kyoto region of Japan.


How to make matcha tea

Making matcha is easy! Watch this video to see exactly how it's done.

Add 1-2 scoops of Matcha powder to Chawan

Add 60-80 ml of 80°C (176°F) hot water

Whisk until frothy

Top up with water to taste.
