In Japanese 'KOI' can mean either "Love" or "Strong-flavoured" and in this case, it is the second meaning that is implied in this version of the white chocolate wafered KitKat. In fact, this matcha KitKat is made from the rich, high-quality matcha of Uji, Kyoto and the chocolate coating on KitKat's trademark crispy wafers have been infused with twice the Uji matcha than previous editions. The result is a darker, bolder taste with a nice blend of bitterness and sweetness.
