How to Make Layered Ice Matcha Latte
This layered iced matcha latte is the perfect refreshing iced tea summer drink. It is super easy to make and I’ll show you step by step how to get that layered Matcha effect.

Ingredients
- 8g oolong loose leaf tea
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 4g matcha powder
- 120ml of milk
- 1 cup of ice
Directions
- Add 1 cup of water to a pot.
- Add 8g of oolong tea and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea leaves and return the brewed tea to the pot.
- Add 1 cup of raw sugar and heat until dissolved to create oolong syrup.
- Transfer oolong syrup to a mason jar. Syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- Add 4g of matcha powder to a tea bowl with 40ml of milk. Whisk for 30 seconds.
- Fill a tall glass with ice and pour 30ml of oolong syrup over the ice.
- Add 100ml of milk to the glass.
- Pour whisked matcha over the top and serve.
