This purple bamboo matcha set has everything you need to brew delicious frothy matcha over and over again. This matcha tea set includes a 50g pouch of our best selling ceremonial grade matcha powder.
Our EISAI Uji Matcha is first flush tea leaves, hand-picked by tea farmers in Uji from an organic JAS Certified tea farm.
The tea leaves are from the Okumidori cultivar which is reserved for tea ceremonies and known to have a naturally sweet and savoury taste.
As soon as you open the packaging you will immediately smell the sweet vegetal aromas produced by this high-grade matcha tea.
The true excellence of this matcha comes from its velvety, silky texture as it passes over the tongue. It is a full-bodied and well rounded green tea with no bitterness.
Because of its supreme quality, this matcha is also used for Koicha which is a thick paste made from only the highest grade of matcha
