Using traditional farming methods and without the use of pesticides the tea leaves are sourced from ground Tencha grown on an organic farm in Uji Japan. The farm uses natural predators to remove any insects which would eat the leaf such as Praying Mantis, ladybugs and spiders.
This premium culinary grade matcha comes from the Yabukita cultivar. This culinary grade matcha is characterised by its strong, but balanced taste.
One serve of matcha (1g) contains between 36 & 40mg of caffeine.
Our teas are grown on the pristine hillsides of Uji in the Kyoto region of Japan.
