This Japanese incense holder is made out of aluminium by the well established Japan-based die-caster, Nagae company. They have been designing, manufacturing, and supplying high-quality die-cast parts such as metal home decor accessories since 1954 in Takaoka. Mt Fuji has been the subject of paintings by many famous artists.
One of the most famous images would be Mt Fuji reflecting on the lake, which is called “Sakasa Fuji (the inverted image of Mt Fuji) ” in Japanese. It is a rare sight to see and you would be considered lucky if you can see the “Sakasa Fuji” view.
The Sakasa Fuji incense holder depicts a miniature version of the Sakasa Fuji view. Pour water into the holder and place your incense stick in the holder. The incense burner makes use of its pool to catch the ash from the incense.
