This lacquerware tea tray is skilfully crafted in a town called Kuroe, which is northwest of the city of Kainan, Wakayama prefecture. The plum blossom motif is etched into the resin and beautifully painted to enhance the artful etching of the tray. The tea tray is 24cm in diameter and has a raised edged to prevent your tea ware from sliding off the edge.
