This Japanese teapot is made from the iron-rich red clay that the Tokoname region is world-renowned for. The lid and upper body of the Kyusu are handpainted with cherry blossom flowers on the red clay canvas. The pattern contrasts beautifully with the dark brown colour representing the earth.
